Park Air Ferrite Tile Upgrade Case Study

Ferrite Tile Installation

Project Overview
NTD Shielding was commissioned to upgrade an existing pan-type RF chamber for Park Air Systems, measuring approximately 7 metres long, 3 metres wide and 3 metres high. The upgrade focused on significantly improving internal performance through the addition of NTD F10 ferrite tiles.

Scope of Works

To enable ferrite tile installation, several structural and electrical modifications were required:

  • Fabrication and installation of a new internal sub-structure across all walls and ceiling
  • A reinforced steel support system installed to the chamber roof
  • Supply and fitting of high performance NTD F10 ferrite tiles
  • Electrical system upgrades including rewiring and repositioning of power outlets
  • Installation of two new low-interference LED spotlights
  • Installation of one emergency LED light

These modifications not only allowed the chamber to accept ferrite tiling but also improved lighting, usability and future-proofed the setup for additional upgrades.
